Judge Dismisses Wrongful Termination Claims by Former Charlottesville Police Chief | Law.com

The same judge who lowered the damages award to the victims of the Charlottesville protest late last month has now agreed to dismiss the wrongful termination claims filed by the police chief who was hired following community concerns about the Charlottesville Police Department. 

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia on Jan. 20 dismissed wrongful termination claims filed by former Charlottesville Police Chief Rashall M. Brackney-Wheelock.
